Accessibility statement

This website is built to be read by everyone, including at 90

Our Home Healthcare is a nurse-led home care agency in Edgewater, Florida, and most people reading this site are older adults or their families. The site aims to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. Large text, strong contrast, every page usable from a keyboard, and every photograph described in words. If something does not work for you, call (386) 272-6048.

What the site does

How is the Our Home Healthcare website made easier to use

Text you can read

Body text is 18 pixels and grows with your browser's text size setting. Captions and small print never go below 13 pixels. Headings are big. Lines are short. Nothing is written in capital letters for long stretches, and nothing important is in light grey.

Contrast

Text colours against their backgrounds are checked against the WCAG AA contrast ratio of 4.5 to 1. On dark sections the text is white. The brand teal is used for buttons and large headings, never for small text on a white background.

Keyboard and screen readers

Every menu, link, button, question and form field can be reached with the Tab key and used with Enter or Space. The thing you have reached shows a clear teal outline. Menus and forms are labelled for screen readers, and each page has 1 main heading and a heading order that does not skip levels.

Motion

Some sections settle into place as you scroll. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site honours that setting and the page simply appears, with no movement.

Photographs

Every photograph has a written description of who is in it and what is happening, so a screen reader can read it to you. Decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.

Phones

The site works on a phone held upright. Buttons are large enough to tap, and the phone number is a button that dials when tapped.

If something does not work

How do you report an accessibility problem on this site

Call (386) 272-6048 and tell whoever answers. Or text that number, or email hello@ourhomehealthcare.com. Say which page and what went wrong. Tom Whitfield, our administrator, looks at every report, and we aim to fix the problem within 10 business days. If you cannot use the website at all, you can do everything it does by phone. Jordan will take your details and a nurse will come to the house.

Large print and other formats

Every client gets a printed plan of care. Ask Priya or Dana for it in large print and it comes that way. Invoices from Tom can also be sent in large print, and he will read one to you on the phone if that is easier. Our Notice of Privacy Practices is available in large print on request.

Where we are still working

The contact form and the chat window are provided by a software company, and we check them against the same standard. The map link opens Google Maps, which has its own accessibility settings. This statement was written on October 9, 2026 and is reviewed when the site changes.

Talk to us

Tell us what is going on. Jordan calls you back within the hour.

Send the form or call (386) 272-6048. If it is after 5 pm the on-call nurse picks up. Nobody at Our Home Healthcare is paid on commission, and there is nothing to decide on the first call.

Ask about care for someone

About 1 minute. We call you, you do not have to call us.

By sending this you agree we may call or text you about your enquiry. Reply STOP to any text to end them.
