Our Home Healthcare is a licensed home health agency in Edgewater, Florida, with registered nurses and LPNs who visit at home. A skilled nursing visit covers medications, injections, wound and catheter care, and checks on diabetes, heart failure and COPD. It costs $95 a visit, takes about an hour, and the nurse teaches your family what to watch for.

After a hospital stay, the list on the discharge papers and the list on the kitchen counter rarely match. An RN reconciles them with the pharmacy and the doctor, sets up the weekly organizer, and tells you which side effects to watch for.
There is a wound that is not closing
A pressure sore, a surgical incision, a diabetic foot ulcer. A nurse cleans and dresses it on a schedule, measures it each visit, and calls the doctor when it changes. Ostomy and catheter care work the same way.
The injections are too much to ask of your husband

What does a skilled nursing visit include
An RN or LPN at the house for about an hour, doing what the doctor ordered and what Priya put in the plan of care.
- Medication management and setup, the weekly organizer filled and the list reconciled
- Injections, insulin and others, and teaching the family to give them
- Wound and ostomy care
- Catheter care
- Vital signs, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen, weight, blood sugar
- Diabetes, heart failure and COPD checks
- Teaching the family what to watch for and when to call
Nursing visits sit alongside hands-on help. Many of our nursing clients also have a caregiver for personal care at $32 an hour, and the first 30 days after a discharge come as 1 package in hospital to home. We are a private duty agency. Medicare home health is a different thing, and we do not bill Medicare.

What it costs
How much does a nursing visit cost in Edgewater
$95 a visit, RN or LPN, about an hour. No deposit, no contract. We tell you the price at the first visit and it does not change.
Skilled nursing visit
RN or LPN at the house for about an hour. Medications, injections, wounds, catheters, vital signs.
The first visit
Priya or Dana at the house within 24 hours of your call, with a written plan of care and an exact price before she leaves.
Caregiver hours alongside
Personal care or companion care from the same plan. 4-hour minimum, $36 an hour on weekends and holidays.
Private pay by card or bank draft, billed weekly. Long-term care insurance, and Tom Whitfield bills the insurer for you. VA Aid and Attendance for veterans and surviving spouses, and we help with the application. We do not take Medicare or Medicaid. Every price is on the pricing page.
